I only use the shooting ranges now and they're not too bad. I think it's ridiculous to close the roads for any reason as the public is suppose to have access to the entire compound. Handicap people can forget about access to very much out there. It could be a lot better with proper management and better public access.
I used to go here frequently as a child. Still very nice area for hiking. Has a gun range that was very crowded on a Sunday. Also has a skeet range. The southern portion was quiet and a nice place for wildlife viewing and hiking.
I love to come here with family go fishing and shooting been going for about 2 years now love the place
Nice place for kayak fishing and the have a great shooting range.
This place is terrible! Gun range should have set hours during hunting season, people just go there to pop off rounds while there are people trying to hunt the grounds. Never see conservation officers.
